The High-Low Theory of Fashion Affordability

Some items in your wardrobe are always worth spending the extra money on. Some items in your wardrobe can usually be had at a bargain. Some items can go either way. Above, from our March issue fashion extravaganza, a breakdown of how you should sort your price priorities. One important note: Unless you're dressing up for a Very Important Meeting or dressing down for a day of fishing, your outfit at any given time should contain at least one high item and one low item. It helps throw things off center just a bit.
