I-29 closed in all of ND, I-94 closed from Bismarck to Alexandria; Hwy 10 from Moorhead to Detroit Lakes

FARGO – Transportation officials have shut down Interstate 29 from the Canadian border to the South Dakota border, and Interstate 94 is closed from Bismarck to Alexandria, as blizzard conditions have worsened.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol closed Interstate 94 between Bismarck and Fargo due to zero visibility and multiple accidents, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Minnesota's DOT closed I-94 from Moorhead to Alexandria. It also closed Highway 10 from Moorhead to Detroit Lakes and Highway 210 from Fergus Falls to Breckenridge.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a no travel advisory for southeast North Dakota due to blowing and drifting snow causing zero visibility.

Cities in the no travel advisory include Fargo, Wahpeton and surrounding areas.
